Mutual Ministry Committee – The primary function of the Mutual Ministry Committee is to keep the pastor and staff advised about conditions within the congregation, and to interpret to the congregation the ministry of the professional leaders and support staff. The Committee shall act as a sounding board for pastor(s) and employed staff members, Council officers, the congregation’s committees and ministry teams, and the congregation, thus affording everyone a direct avenue to discuss concerns or conflicts that may arise. In the area of conflict resolution, the committee shall provide a forum where members and the congregation’s employees may voice their concerns and reach a mutually acceptable settlement of these concerns. The Mutual Ministry committee is accountable to, and reports directly to the Congregation Council.
