Fellowship, Giving & Serving

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Mark 10:45

  • Edna's Haven

  • Habitat for Humanity

  • Activities for Seniors

    • Coffee Klatch at Blackwell Street Senior Building

    • The Garden of Readin' is a book club that meets

on the second Wednesday of each month to discuss

the latest assigned book.  Call the church office for

                 details and current book title.

Through monetary donations and item collections,

Globally

Globally, we support projects through Lutheran World Relief including:

Quilt Ministry

The current Quilt Ministry at TLC was started in 2013.  The quilts are sent to Lutheran World Relief who sends them all over the world with their Disaster Relief program.  Quilts are given to survivors who use them for warmth, comfort, as a makeshift shelter, or a temporary rug, or even as a carryall.  Durability is valued over fancy details for these quilts!  Our quilts have been sent to Georgia, Serbia, India, and the Ukraine.

Property Maintenance
  • Bald Eagles and Silver Foxes: meets at 9:30 a.m. on select Thursdays to do odd jobs and make improvements around the church.
