Youth
YOUTH GROUP: Empowering our youth to become leaders and to better serve the NJ Synod, the world and our own congregation.
Youth group provides a safe, caring, fun, supportive environment where youth are always welcomed and invited to come back. Youth group is where Christian values are taught explored and practiced through activities, games, outings and service projects. It will enable the youth to form their own community within the church and provide a supportive environment where they can express their thoughts and ask questions as they explore what it means to be a Christian.
Trinity Lutheran Church has two Youth Groups:
Middle School Youth Group (5th - 7th Grades)
Advisors: Charlene Rollins and Pastor Cheryl Johnson
and
Sr. High Youth Group (8th - 12th Grades)
Advisors: Carmen Rivers
Senior High Youth Group Dates:
Sunday, 1/22- Youth service practice and lunch, 12:15- 2:00
Sunday, 2/5- Snow Tubing
Sunday, 3/18- Youth Service
Feb. 17-19: Winter Youth Assembly Sr. High Retreat
7/15- 7/22- New Orleans Youth Gathering
